- Opportunities for Community Energy in Yea was commissioned in 2020 and completed in March 2021. It was funded a Murrindindi Shire Council Community Planning Grant. It investigated the feasibility for the Yea community and surrounds of transitioning to 100% renewable energy over the next decade and informed our first steps.
- In September 2021, we held our first AGM and presented our first Annual Report.
- Towards the end of 2021, we commissioned two ANU students to investigate the feasibility of a community battery for Yea. In February 2022, 2030Yea Community Batteries Report was published.
- In July 2024, the Yea community battery project – a partnership between Indigo Power; RMIT and 2030Yea Community Energy – published the NBI Stage 3: Yea Community Battery Business Plan Development report.
