Julie Wilson grew up in Benalla. Her father came from Barjug where his parents had a dairy farm and her mother’s grandparents farmed at Winton. Julie has spent most of her working life in Melbourne, while living on the outskirts in Hurstbridge. Gardening and living sustainably has always been one of Julie’s passions and moving to Yea with the ambition of building and living sustainably is very exciting. She says – “Joining like-minded souls at 2030Yea has been a welcoming and rewarding experience. It has been a great way to immerse in Yea life and make a meaningful contribution to the community.”
